Preksha J. Patel joined DeTorres & DeGeorge, LLC as an associate to the firm in November 2023. Prior to joining DeTorres & DeGeorge, Preksha served as a judicial law clerk with the Honorable Kurt Kramer, J.S.C. in the family division at Camden County. She also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James J. Ferrelli, J.S.C. in the family division at Burlington County. Preksha graduated from Drexel University, Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2017. While in law school, Preksha served as a student volunteer with the Domestic Violence Assistance Program. Preksha served as a student member of the New York City Bar Association International Human Rights Committee before volunteering overseas at the Human Rights Legal Network in Mumbai, India, where she worked exclusively with victims of domestic violence. Preksha has 14 years of training in Indian Classical dancing and recently began attending urban hip hop dance classes. She enjoys reading and writing poetry, spending time with her family, cooking, and decompressing at the gym.
